Does anyone know how I can synchronize my pocket pc with outlook on Vista? I have 3 different pocket pcs and none of them synchronize. I cant install activesync and sync station doesnt let me sync the contacts. I tried unplugging the device and reconnecting it several times but that did not work. The computer does detects the device. Someone please help.
Thanks, Sol

Which version of Active Sync are you using? Have you tried the ActiveSync 4.2 BETA Preview? http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync42.mspx -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Cool didn't know they had released that, I'll make sure to install it on XP. 8-)
On Windows Vista it blocks the installation... I'm not going to try and get around that, Vista should be having mobile syncing built in - its just not here yet.

Yep, Windows Mobile Device Center. :) The Pictures, Music and Video part seems to be half functional, File Management and Device Settings are still limbo. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Basically the Outlook sync portion should be available via Windows Update towards the end of June for Vista beta 2.

Well that is good news....sort of. If it will allow installing of applications, that would be great.
Don't get me wrong though, I would also like to be able to sync up with Outlook, but it does bite that in the mean time we can't even use ActiveSync
